KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (1988)
There are few horror films as amusing as those crafted by fans of the genre, especially the lower rungs of cult classic movies.
This is a movie that never for a moment takes its self seriously. It’s full of fun and mischief including cotton candy cocoons, popcorn guns, circus tent space ships and malicious balloon sculpture creatures.
It may surprise some that this decidedly low budget movie cost an estimated $2 million to complete. What’s more surprising is the respectable worldwide box office take of $43,625,000.
